Melissa & Yannick

The National Gallery of Canada has picturesque architecture and lighting that is a perfect way to showcase this couple’s love. We started under the reflections of the water pool. Then as we entered the galleries grand entranceway, were greeted by the window-light.

Then we moved upstairs to get a view with the rafters of the gallery framing an intricate backdrop. These were my favourite!

What I love about photographing couples is capturing those in-between moments—the glances, the quiet touches, the way two people fit so effortlessly together. Melissa and Yannick made that part easy. Their joy was contagious, and it shines through in every image.
